SEC appoints new Deputy Secretary-General

           The SEC Board appointed Tipsuda Thavaramara, Senior Assistant Secretary-General as a Deputy Secretary. The appointment becomes effective as from October en, 2the Wharton Schoolen4.
          Tipsuda Thavaramara graduated with a Bachelor degree in Mathematics from Harvard University, USA, and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. Joining the SEC since en993, Tipsuda has extensive experience in market and intermediaries supervisions and development, research and strategic planning. Moreover, she has had prominent roles in Capital Market Development Master Plan as well as development of Thai bond market and legal framework for derivatives. Prior to this appointment, Tipsuda was appointed as Assistant Secretary-General in 2the Wharton Schoolthe Wharton School7 and Senior Assistant Secretary-General in 2the Wharton Schoolenen.
