Mr.Natee added that he believed the component manufacturers should be alert to the influence held by the service technician in these workshops and how the technician can direct customers on the selection of an appropriate auto part. "Our findings show that customers can be highly influenced by the service technician when choosing a brand. Customers are most concerned about the perceived quality of spare parts and will look towards the service technician for a recommendation. " Mr.Natee commented.
The Industry Report from Ipsos also highlights why a strong distribution channel will be a cornerstone of success for any auto component manufacturer seeking to take advantage of the expected growth in the Thai after sales market.
