Kingston Introduces 2.0 Hi-Speed USB Memory to Digital Media Line

Bangkok--Oct 10--Power Plus Marketing Service Kingston Technology Company, Inc. today introduced Hi-Speed USB memory to its digital media product line, DataTraveler 2.0. The DataTraveler 2.0 is Kingston's first Hi-Speed USB memory solution and is immediately available in 128MB, 256MB, 512MB and 1GB capacities. Kingston's DataTraveler 2.0's small form factor (3.9 inches x .944 inches x .945 inches) and Plug and Play technology makes it the latest digital media solution to combine high storage capacity with portability and fast data transfer rates. DataTraveler 2.0 combines the speed of a memory chip with the portability of a compact disk, all in a pocket-sized device. Data is also password protected with Kingston's custom software, TravelerSafe. By simply plugging the DataTraveler into a system's 2.0 USB port, the DataTraveler 2.0 will appear as a separate hard drive, thus allowing for easy data transfers. The Hi-Speed USB memory device operates with the latest operating systems supporting USB interface 2.0 (drivers included for Windows 98).
