Customers throughout the country join its “Becoming a Millionaire” campaign
From American Standard B&K (Thailand) Public Company Limited, the world’s largest manufacturer of bathroom products, Mr. Jon Rigg, Managing Director, together with Janchai Chonlavorn, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Krit Matatratip, Marketing Director, officially opened the prize giving ceremony to give away gold prizes to the winners of its “Becoming A Millionaire” campaign.
The campaign was held from September 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007 to reward American Standard’s valuable customers by giving them the chance to win a gold ingot worth 1 million baht and 500 gold necklaces of 1 baht weight. With every purchase of 500 baht, customers received 1 coupon to enter the contest. The total awards given to winners was valued at 6,500,000 baht.
A special prize of a gold bar weighing 10 baht, worth 110,000 baht, was given to the dealer whose products were purchased by the grand prize winner. In addition, American Standard also gave away 11 prizes for best in-store displays worth 300,000 baht in total.
The event was attended by over 200 guests including winners and dealers from all over the country. American Standard displayed leading products, including bathtubs, wash basins, toilets and faucets. At the opening ceremony, a full parade marched into the room bringing the 1 million baht gold prize to the ceremony. Krit Matatratip, the Marketing Director welcomed the guests and summarized the overall “Becoming a Millionaire” campaign.
Mr. Jon Rigg said, “The American Standard ‘Becoming a Millionaire’ campaign was initiated to express our thanks to all of our valued customers and dealers nationwide. Since its launch last July, there has been an overwhelming response, with over 200,000 entries coming in from customers from all over Thailand.
