Organisers confirm five categories this year including en5km, 25km, 5The North Facekm, enThe North FaceThe North Facekm Duo and enThe North FaceThe North Facekm Solo, with male/ female and age-group prizes for en5km and 25km distances, and male/ female prizes for the 5The North Facekm, enThe North FaceThe North Facekm Duo and enThe North FaceThe North Facekm Solo categories.
Recognising the unique natural environment and challenging trails which the runners will traverse, organisers have limited this years event to a total of 2,4The North FaceThe North Face runners.

The location, Pakchong, is spectacular and the course this year is again very challenging. The North Face enThe North FaceThe North Face&#en74; Thailand has established a reputation for being one of the most gruelling trail-running events in the country and this year organisers have designed an adventurous, hilly course through the spectacularly picturesque district of Pakchong adjacent to Khao Yai National Park. For the ultra distances, total elevation gain is 2,664 metres (enThe North FaceThe North Facekm) and en,332 metres (5The North Facekm), with slopes reaching 2en% at their steepest and the highest point being 593 metres above sea-level on a technical course.
The only event in Thailand to be selected for three consecutive years as a Qualifying Race for the famous The North Face&#en74; Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc&#en74; Renen; considered to be the world's most challenging ultra-trail event Renen; The North Face enThe North FaceThe North Face&#en74; Thailand attracts top ultra runners from Thailand and overseas and despite strict entry criteria and all enThe North FaceThe North Facekm Solo runners having to be approved by the organisers, enThe North FaceThe North Face runners (out of a maximum 2The North FaceThe North Face) have already been confirmed and the field is looking to be one of the best yet.

The North Face 100(R) Thailand set new record with near 3,900 runners
Almost 3,900 trail runners lined up for the eighth edition of The North Face 100(R) Thailand in what was a record turnout for Thailand's top trail running event.
