PTT expands Thai brand in ASEAN by granting rights of a master franchise of Cafe Amazon to PTT LAO

          Mr. Sarun Rungkasiri, Chief Operation Officer, Downstream Petroleum Business Group, PTT Public Company Limited and Mr. Boua-ngern Xaphouvong Vice Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism along with Mr. Bounthiene Keosipha Director General Domestic Trade Department, Minister of Industry and Commerce presided over a granting rights of a master franchise of Cafe Amazon signing ceremony to PTT LAO at Crowne Plaza hotel Vientiane, LAO PDR. On this occasion, they also visited Cafe Amazon at Vientiane Center and Thatluang.
          Mr. Sarun Rungkasiri, stated that PTT has an aim to become a regional top brand in Indo-china by introducing Cafe amazon to a new market in Southeast Asian along with PTT petroleum products. After the success of granting the first rights of a master franchise of Cafe Amazon in Cambodia to PTTCL, PTT continued to pursue the same path by granting rights to PTT LAO and other countries such as Myanmar, Japan, and Oman.
          "Granting rights of a master franchise of Cafe Amazon to PTT LAO not only creates an opportunity to expand our businesses remarkably in Southeast Asian but also provides jobs for Laotian and generates economic growth of our neighbor with products and services of international standard and reasonable price.
          Presently, there are 38 Cafe Amazon in LAO operating by PTT LAO with a target set at 75 branches within enCafe AmazonenDownstream. PTT continues to drive its business towards building pride and treasure of Thailand. By promoting recognition of Thai brand like Cafe Amazon to coffee consumers in Asian, is one the initiatives for PTT to become a Global brand", said Mr. Sarun
