The Chef Riders Charity Dinner at Latest Recipe, Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa

This exclusive dining experience was crafted by five visionary chefs from Marriott International - Thailand: Gaetano Palumbo, Executive Chef from Rossini's, the Michelin-rated Italian ristorante at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok; Attapol "Chef X" Thangthong, Executive Chef at Phraya Kitchen, Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse; Executive Chef Marco Cammarata from Latest Recipe, at Le Meridien Bangkok; Danilo Aiassa, Italian Chef from Favola at Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa; and Poramate Prasansak, the hotel's Executive Chef who oversees the charity dinner's host venue, Latest Recipe. In line with Marriott International's dedication to local and sustainable sourcing, the dinner featured ingredients from responsible Thai suppliers, including small-scale farms and fisheries.

Prior to the dinner service, Mr Giuseppe Fornillo, General Manager of Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa had shared the thoughts behind this fund-raising project that 'not only to enjoy a wonderful evening of food and friends but also to extend our support and help to change the lives of underprivileged children. At Marriott International, the "TAKE CARE" model is at the heart of everything we do. We firmly believe in giving back to the places where we operate, and tonight's event is a testament to that commitment. The proceeds from tonight's event will go to support a scholarship in hospitality to the young underprivileged in Pattani province.'

This charitable initiative forms part of Marriott International's responsible business and social impact platform, "Serve 360," which is dedicated to doing good in every direction, as guided by the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. All proceeds after deduction from the event will be donated to 'Save The Children' Thailand.

Furthermore, Ms Takako Naito, head of Chef Riders' public relation has also shared a brief speech of the club's beginning and the past events that 'the past 07 Chef Riders events were done at the communities reachable by motorcycles. Since the first event, the club has gathered almost THB 500,000 solely from the charitable chef's table experience. The group hasn't got many members but we're always supported by great friends who have the same views as ours. With the participation tonight, all guests are considered our member riders and we wholeheartedly thank you for this warm support.'

After the dinnertime, Executive Chef Attapol - Chef X, the founder of Chef Riders group also expressed his appreciation for tonight's patronage from the Chef Riders-goers, the newcomers and the suppliers who helped out on this society relief and hoped to meet all diners again in the next event to come.
